Shri Sahasramukheshwar Temple
Shri Sahasramukheshwar Temple – Kukdeshwar is a thousand years old town situated near the Aravalli mountain range (plateau) in Malwa soil. Along with historical religious features, the ancient, divine Shivling Shri Sahastra Mukeshwar Mahadev Tirtha in Kukdeshwar is among the selected historical idols of the world. According to legends, Lord Adinath Shiva appeared and gave darshan to King Shankhu Karneshwar. Thereafter, a Shiva temple was established at the northern end of the town. This temple was built around 1600 BC. At the southern end is the temple of Adi Shakti Parvati Mata. In the temple premises, along with the well, there is a grand pond of the time of the temple, which has seven ponds. One of these ponds is named Kesaria Kund. The divine idol of Shri Sahastra Mukeshwar Mahadev gives immediate effect. Whoever bows down here with devotion, Bholeeshwar fulfills all his wishes.
